The outstanding success of "RO" Reverse Osmosis technology is continually evidenced by laboratory tests. It uses a membrane of 0.0001 micron that is semi-permeable, allowing pressurized water that is being purified to pas through it, while rejecting the contaminants that remain. This process allows the removal of particles, which are small as ions from a solution, including sodium. Even bacteria and viruses are physically removed from the raw water. The RO membrane uses cross flow technology, which continually passes water across the membrane, thus flushing away the rejected contaminants, continuously. Ro is effective against dissolved salts, suspended solids, dissolved chemicals, and many other contaminants that are not visible to the naked eyes. Purification Stages
Water coming from previous stage is submitted to a strong source of ultraviolet rays, 10 times stronger than any microorganism. Thereby giving us healthy and pure water. Stage 1: Sediment Filter 5 micron made of polypropylene spun fiber removes suspended impurities in water like sand, dirt, rust, silt providing first line of protection for the whole system. Stage 2 : Presediment filter online 1 micron removes all micron sand particles providing second line purification. Stage 3: Granular Carbon pre-filter, which removes chlorine, color and other organic impurities. Stage 4: RO Membrane (70 GPD, Filmtech) eliminating algae, bacteria and viruses. Stage 5: In-Line Post Carbon filter and polisher that improves the taste of water.
